Swimming Pool

Hello neighbors! 

The Pool will be closed on June 24th, 25th and 26th due to clubhouse and bathroom flooring replacement. 

POOL HOURS 2025:Lifeguard hours are 11am-8pm on weekends. Weekday lifeguard staffing will be between 10am-4pm. While lifeguards will end their shifts at 4:00pm, “swim-at-your-own-risk”  hours will extend until 8pm. In the case of inclement weather, Hastings Water Works, along with pool management has the discretion to close the pool.

SWIM SCHEDULE: Our pool schedule is to swim at the top of the hour (ex: 11:00 a.m.) and to clear the pool for rest period after 45 minutes (ex: 11:45 a.m.). Adults may swim at their own risk during rest period. The pool is not guarded during rest period.

POOL PARTY 2025: The pool party has not been scheduled yet.

POOL PASSES: Again this year, pool access will be enabled & monitored through the use of your key card and the camera surveillance system.  As a friendly reminder… the cameras are there for the safety of the residents along with the pool & pool equipment.  While they are not monitored at all times, all activity at the pool and clubhouse is recorded.  If you need to report an incident, please do your best to note the date and time of the incident when you send it to us at: wedgewoodcopley@gmail.com

If you are new to the neighborhood and/or are in need of a keycard, send an email to the address above and we’ll work together to issue you a new or replacement card.  The first keycard for each house is complementary while additional/replacement key cards are $40/ea.

Please note pool passes are not distributed to homeowners with outstanding dues. Check the Annual Dues tab for information about paying dues.

Wedgewood families are permitted to bring up to 4 guests to the pool. A Wedgewood resident must accompany guests. Be sure to have your pass with you at all times while enjoying your pool.

SWIMMING POOL RULES

  1. Pool is for the use of members of the Wedgewood Homeowners’ Association and their authorized guests ONLY. A current resident of Wedgewood must accompany guests at all times (a maximum of 4 guests per family). A pool pass is required AT ALL TIMES. Dues must be fully paid to enjoy pool privileges. Lifeguards have the right to require you to show your pass at any time.
  2. No children under 12 years will be allowed at the pool without adult or approved caregiver supervision (16 years or older).
  3. No glass is permitted in the pool area.
  4. Life saving equipment is to be used for that purpose only.
  5. No running, wrestling, horseplay, or pushing permitted.
  6. No squirt guns allowed.
  7. No diving is allowed.
  8. No pets are permitted in the pool area.
  9. No audio systems are permitted in the pool area, except those using headphones. 
  10. Swimmers must be clothed in appropriate swimsuits in order to prevent damage to the pool filter system and chlorine levels. No cutoffs, diapers, towels, etc. in pool. Children who are not potty trained MUST wear swim diapers to avoid potential pool closure due to public health concerns.
  11. Other than the restrooms, no swimsuits are permitted inside the clubhouse except during the annual pool party.
  12. Please use the trash container to help keep our pool and clubhouse clean.
  13. If you use the grill, please be sure and clean it after you use it.
  14. Use of the wading pool is limited to children under 5 years of age and children must have parental/caregiver supervision at all times.
  15. Pool staff/association is not responsible for personal items lost or stolen
  16. Large floatation devices reduce visibility and are not permitted in the pool. Only infant floats and noodle floats may be permitted with adult supervision.
  17. Opening and closing times shall be strictly adhered to.
  18. Lifeguard will enforce rules that affect the health and safety of the pool users.
  19. Please close all table umbrellas when you leave.
